Google+ App For iPhone Is Live

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

iPhone users will no longer need to borrow their friends' Androids to chat on Google's much talked about "Facebookkiller", as the official Google+ app for iOS has made its way to iTunes. However, iPod and iPad seem to have been kept out of the party.

Much like the Android app, the iPhone version supports almost all features including Stream, Huddles, and Circles. However, the instant upload feature still remains an Android exclusive. Nevertheless, it's still better than having to use the HTML5 based web app, which lacks many essential features. Check out the full feature comparison below.

iPhone users can download the app from here. Interestingly, Google is yet to release a version for its own Honeycombtablet OS, whose users won't be too pleased to see the company's love for the iPhone.
